Before and After: Renovation Mark and Rik San Francisco Home

Who says you have to rush to renovate your home? For these homeowners in the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, the duration of the renovation of their home is no big deal. This is because they are both busy with work full-time and divided the renovation in stages. It took six years before the house is completely finished. But no matter how long it took, they were still able to get their dream home.

This old house was built 100 years ago in 1914 and renovated in 1970, but the renovations did not take advantage of the view from the top of the hill on which the house is built. This is something that Mark and Rick Bacon Topetcher want to change. They want to have a good view of the nature and adding more light in the house. The new look was inspired by the topography of the place and the atmosphere of the city. The third floor was added to the house with a central staircase. To save money, has been equipped with objects which are reused and renovated to create an eclectic mix of repurposed decor, furniture and others.

1. One of the main goals is to add more light into what's really the way the house turned out.

What I like most about this house is how they are reused and recycled so much food to create it. Now that you are a greenhouse! The design was made by Mark Topetcher themselves are also an architect of San Francisco. It is the result of collaboration with his colleague, Rick Bacon, director of catering at the Hotel Kabuki. This house has an area of 2,450 square feet (228 square meters) with 3 bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms. Let me know what you think of home improvement is that we can see in the before and after pictures.
